Ibukun Jaiyeola is the Associate Director of Communications for BAU R&D. In this capacity, Ibukun creates and implements BAU’s communication strategy. She oversees the creative development and production of the organization’s publications, and offers strategic counsel to maximize opportunities to advance BAU’s mission of reinventing learning in Africa.
Prior to her work with BAU, Ibukun worked as assistant producer and media coordinator for Impact Africa radio out of Washington DC. She also served as Creative Director on the editorial board of YADA magazine. Ibukun has a record of experience advising nonprofits, startups, and business leaders and officials. Her expertise in creating and implementing marketing communication strategies are sought-after, and she has developed brand strategies for individuals and businesses in the private and public sectors.
She currently serves as Director of Marketing and Communications for Grow With Nigeria, an international non-profit organization, and continues to volunteer her time and expertise with other socially-minded nonprofits and brands. She has a bachelor's degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from Pepperdine University, and a Masters in International Media from The American University.
