Director Of Research and Development
Nekpen Osuan is Beni American University’s Director of Research and Development. Nekpen is an Analyst at the New York City Department of Education’s Division of Finance. Prior to that, she served as Deputy Data Director for OFA-Florida.
Nekpen earned her undergraduate degree from Baylor and her Masters from Columbia. Nekpen is passionate about education policy, civic engagement, and economic development. She volunteers as a mentor for Young People For (a project of PFAW), the Clinton Global Initiative, the New Leaders Council, and the Lower East Side Girls Club..
Nekpen possesses a strong commitment to the use of data to inform organizational efficiency and strategy; her expertise lies in non-profit management, social research, and analytics.
In her free time, Nekpen is an avid traveler, volunteer, political junkie, culinary aficionado and scholar of leadership.
